  2. Choose your poison. I’m allergic to Asperin and Ibuprophen so I cannot take these. And Tylenol is useles and dangerous as well. It just does not help. Face it. You face the pain now and get through it rather than from some dangerous complication from a a pain killer you took. There are ice packs, Icey Hot, and Ben Gay. They help. Also I have used a Homedic Vibrator on the damaged bruised area. Start out slow with this and at a low speed. It helps me. I would ask your doctor before you try any of these. You do not want to make it worse. And take it slow, rest, and move around. You do not want to sit around and get stiff.
